iDiscovery Solutions Rolls Out Enhanced Digital Forensics Lab

Leaning on years of experience and intimate knowledge of forensics tools, the iDS team improved hardware configurations, added virtualization, upgraded workflows, and acquired additional software licenses. Clients will benefit greatly from the upgrades, seeing amplified efficiency in data identification, faster data retrieval for analysis and reporting, and increased storage capacity.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) September 17, 2014

iDiscovery Solutions, Inc. (iDS), will roll out their enhanced Digital Forensics Lab in their Washington, DC office this week. The advancements in the e-Discovery and expert services firm’s main lab will significantly increase bandwidth, performance, and capacity, while reducing completion time on many of its larger cases.

By instituting Solid State Drive technology throughout the entirety of the lab, project capacity will increase by over 30% and data analysis completion will drop by an even greater percentage. Adding a virtual silo to the existing linear silo will reduce the time for complete data analysis of larger data sources from weeks to days, or even hours. All of which adds up to time and cost savings for iDS' Digital Forensics clients.

“Simple changes, executed correctly, can have a tremendous effect,” said Bobby Williams, a Forensics Consultant at iDS. “By virtualizing portions of our environment, we have removed some of the limitations that occur when you have more dedicated consultants than you have physical workstations or space. This, combined with additional analysis software licenses, provides greater capacity for projects that require advanced tools or large data set analysis.”

Additional enhancements will improve the client experience from collection all the way through to testimony, if needed. Combining Cellebrite’s standard UFED with UFED 4PC Ultimate will increase bandwidth for collecting in the field, while enriched workflows will further expedite evidence handling and improve data analysis and reporting. UFED 4PC Ultimate, based on UFED’s original trusted technology, enables users to perform extraction, decoding, analysis, and reporting on a single platform.

“Our revamped forensics lab and additional UFED technology gives us a greater capacity to help our clients, whether a project involves imaging a few hard drives or hundreds of phones, tablets, and computers,” added James Whitehead, Forensics Manager at iDS. “Most e-Discovery vendors only have collection capability, but our lab and industry leading consultants allow iDS to deliver a wide range of forensic services. We have a unique ability to handle deep dive analysis of data and testify as subject matter experts. That combination is unrivaled in our industry.”

Contact Mr. Whitehead, Mr. Williams, or any of iDS’ industry-leading experts about your project today at http://www.idiscoverysolutions.com/contact.

(PRWEB) September 17, 2014

The Ohio Mesothelioma Victims Center was created to ensure diagnosed victims of mesothelioma in the Buckeye State not only get instant access to the nation's best mesothelioma compensation lawyers, the intent was also to help a family dealing with a diagnosis get up to speed on every vital issue that may present itself. These issues include treatment option possibilities, must do's for the victim, and their family members such as a properly executed will, and designating a very trusted family member with power of attorney, etc.

The Ohio Mesothelioma Victims Center says, "Over the years Ohio has ranked as one of our top states for helping diagnosed victims of mesothelioma, because there was so much manufacturing in the state in the 1960's, and 1970's that involved exposure to asbestos.

"In addition to manufacturing other common issues with mesothelioma in Ohio include the individual served in the US Navy, and was exposed to asbestos on a US Navy ship, and or they worked at a power plant.

"While we cannot undo the diagnosis, we want to be certain the victim, and their family members really do have an opportunity to compare the resumes of the mesothelioma lawyers we suggest to any other attorneys in the nation. This is a service no other group in the nation offers, and we are urging a diagnosed victim in Ohio, or their family members to call us first at 866-714-6466, before they retain the services of a law firm to advance a mesothelioma compensation claim." http://Ohio.MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com

The Ohio Mesothelioma Victims Center's services are available statewide in all communities including Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Akron, Dayton, and Youngstown.

The states with the highest incidence of mesothelioma include Pennsylvania, Maine, New Jersey, West Virginia, Florida, Wyoming, and Washington. However, based on the calls the Mesothelioma Victims Center receives diagnosed victims could be in any state including California, New York, Texas, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, and Alaska.

Typically the exposure to asbestos occurred in the 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s, or 1980’s. http://MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com

The Ohio Mesothelioma Victims Center says, “Before you hire a mesothelioma attorney please call us at 866-714-6466, and compare the qualifications of who we consider to be the nation's most skilled mesothelioma attorneys to any other lawyer, or law firm. When it comes to obtaining the best mesothelioma settlement, the quality of the attorney matters, as we would like to explain." http://Ohio.MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com

Alibaba post-IPO structure gives insiders control

BEIJING (AP) — Control over Alibaba Group will stay in the hands of founder Jack Ma and other company veterans after the Chinese e-commerce giant goes public on the New York Stock Exchange in a record busting share sale. Alibaba says the arrangement will preserve its innovative culture in a fast-developing industry and reduce distractions from financial market fluctuations. The plan echoes tech founders in China and abroad who say they need to retain control to keep alive the creative energy of their startup days and launch new initiatives, even if that lowers short-term profits. "The Alibaba governance structure is probably inspired by the Chinese political structure," said David Webb, a former banker who operates the website webb-site.com about government and corporate affairs. The arrangement allows Ma to retain control even though his and Tsai's shareholdings are outweighed by the 34.1 percent held by Japan's SoftBank Corp. and Yahoo Inc.'s 22.4 percent, said Zhang Tingyu, a specialist in corporate governance at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The company turned to U.S. markets after Hong Kong regulators insisted all shareholders receive a voice in corporate decisions equal to the number of share they held. Alibaba has released no details but Hong Kong news reports say the investors include a fund run by Jiang Zhicheng, a Harvard-educated grandson of former President Jiang Zemin, and other princelings, or relatives of Chinese leaders. Newsweek’s release of its annual school rankings listed GateWay Early College High School (GWECHS), located at GateWay Community College, 6th as America’s Top High Schools for Low-Income Students. GWECHS was the only school in Arizona to rank in the top 10, with a college readiness score of 99.59 out of 100 points.

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) September 18, 2014

Newsweek’s release of its annual school rankings earlier this week ranked GateWay Early College High School (GWECHS) 6th as America’s Top High Schools for Low-Income Students. GWECHS was the only school in Arizona to rank in the top 10, with a college readiness score of 99.59 out of 100 points.

“We are extremely excited about this achievement,” said Lisa Smith, principal for GateWay Early College High School. “Our students, teachers and staff have worked really hard to ensure the kids have real choices for their futures.”

For the first time Newsweek decided to take poverty into account dividing its main top high school list into two: “America’s Top High Schools 2014” which is ranked solely on performance and “Beating the Odds: America’s Top High Schools for Low-Income Students,” which takes into consideration poverty levels.

GateWay Early College High School, which had a 91.5 poverty rate at the time of the study (it is now at 97) has also been recently awarded an “A” grade by the Arizona Department of Education.

Also, the school’s dropout rate is impressive, when compared to the state and national averages - it is currently zero percent.

“Our faculty has been working diligently with the students and responding directly to their strengths and weaknesses,” said Smith. “The bottom line is the GateWay faculty and staff take the time to know their students and we are able to do whatever it takes to prepare them for college.”

The students are so well prepared for post-secondary education that all of the student in the last graduating class have been accepted in college and/or university-level courses. Ten percent of students graduate with an associate degree before they graduate high school and on average, students have 40 college credits when they graduate high school. The school has also been ranked as a Bronze School by US News.

The school, established at GateWay Community College in 1995, has 14 faculty and seven staff, serving approximately 260 students for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Sunshine Recycling, a Jacksonville dumpster rental and construction recycling company, is currently supplying dumpsters and hauling services to the construction site of the new Gran Bay Apartment Homes.

(PRWEB) September 18, 2014

Jacksonville roll off dumpsters provider, Sunshine Recycling, is currently providing dumpster and hauling services to a new apartment complex construction site. Gran Bay Realty Partners LLC, operated by the Rohdie Group of New York, began construction on the 15.5-acre development several months ago. Sunshine Recycling is supplying the development project with eight 30-yard dumpsters and hauling services several times a day.

The dumpsters provided by Sunshine Recycling are being used to discard destruction and demolition debris from the construction site. 30-yard dumpsters are the standard size for any excavation and construction project. The size of these dumpsters makes it possible to recycle all types of construction debris like drywall, plastic, cardboard and wood trim. However, extremely heavy items like concrete slabs should not be recycled in these dumpsters.

The $23 million construction project will develop 14 apartment buildings with 308 units for the Gran Bay Apartment Homes at Flagler Center. The land will also be constructed to house a 7,000 sq-ft clubhouse and leasing center, as well as seven garage buildings for the residents’ cars. The development is expected to reach completion in September 2015.

Rohdie Group of New York employed Summit Contracting Group, Inc as their contractors for the project. Sunshine Recycling and Summit Contracting Group, Inc previously worked together on the construction of the new K9 For Warriors training facility in Nocatee. K9 For Warriors is a service organization that provides canine companionship to wounded veterans in an effort to make their transition to civilian life easier.

“We provide a vital service to construction sites and ensure that they remain on schedule,” said Chuck Herb, owner of Sunshine Recycling in Jacksonville. “Sunshine Recycling prides itself on being timely and professional.”

About Sunshine Recycling of Jacksonville:
Sunshine Recycling Inc. of Jacksonville is a dumpster rental company servicing north Florida. New Survey Reveals 4 out of 10 Public Sector Human Resource Professionals Say Their Agencies Will Lose 20 Percent of Employees in the Next 5 Years

The International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR) releases its 2014 Benchmarking Survey Results on talent management. This year, the areas of focus for the research tackles succession planning, veteran, national guard and military reservist recruitment and retention, as well as millennial recruitment and retention.

Alexandria, Va. (PRWEB) September 18, 2014

A critical finding from the study reveals that 4 out of 10 public sector human resource professionals expect their agencies to lose 20 percent or more of their employees through retirement in the next 5 years. However, only a little more than a quarter (27.4 percent) of the survey respondents has a succession plan in place, creating a major concern for a much talked about “silver tsunami.”

“Succession planning is a major concern of the government workforce,” said IPMA-HR Executive Director Neil Reichenberg. “However, succession planning does not happen overnight for organizations. It is a process. To gain momentum toward succession planning, an agency’s leadership must convey its importance, which is why we are presenting this data on how staffing shortfalls can affect the bottom line.”

According to IPMA-HR’s study, six out of ten public sector organizations (63 percent) say that the older boomers (56-64) and the silent generation (65-73) are the least likely, compared to the other generational cohorts, to leave their jobs voluntarily, unless through retirement.

As the result of this silvering crisis, public sector human resources professionals are slowly, but surely seeking solutions through military and millennial recruitment. For the most part, these two large demographics have been largely untapped. Today, there are more than 21.2 million military veterans in the U.S. with 11.6 million under the age of 65 who are eligible to return to the civilian workforce, according to the 2013 Census. However, statistics show veterans serving post 9/11 have an unemployment rate averaging more than 2 percent higher than non-veterans even with a federal tax credit program available for hiring veterans.

Millennials are another group that is not largely represented in the government workforce with only 17 percent being represented in the public sector workforce. According to a study conducted in 2014 by Georgetown University’s Center on Education, 40 percent of the unemployed are millennials (4.6 million), the largest proportion of unemployed compared to the other generational cohorts.

IPMA-HR is presenting its full survey findings at the International Training Forum & Expo in Philadelphia on September 23. IPMA-HR representatives will also provide solutions on how to tackle the urgent need for more succession planning within the public sector, as well as how to gain more traction in recruiting veterans and millennials.

A sneak peak infographic of the 2014 Talent Management Benchmarking Study is available here.

The Executive Summary of the study will also be available on September 23rd at http://ipma-hr.org/hr-resources/surveys. Copies of the full report is available to the media upon request.

Greene Health Care and Consolo Services Group’s Hospice Billing Services Help Hospice Care Providers Manage New CR 8877 Rules in Hospice Care

As new rules governing notices of election and notices of termination are put in place, hospice care providers are now discovering the invaluable help of outsourced billing services from Consolo Services Group in keeping up with these rapidly changing times.

(PRWEB) September 18, 2014

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued Change Request (CR) 8877, the new rules include timely filing of notices of election (NOE) and notices of termination (NOTR).

Beginning October 1, 2014, a hospice will only have five days to submit their NOE to the Medicare Administrative Contractor. Otherwise, the period between notices of election to submission will be classified as a non-covered period of time except during exceptional circumstances that are beyond the hospice’s control.

CR 8877 also now mandates the notification to Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) every time a beneficiary is discharged from the hospice or in the event of hospice benefit revocation. Similar to the NOE, hospices are now required to file an NOTR within five calendar days, unless the hospice has already filed a final claim.

For hospice care providers, complying with these rules means diligence in entering all clinical data including discharge information. While this is not always as easy as it sounds, hospice care providers have discovered the benefits of working with Greene Health Care (GHC). Greene Health Care provides hospice solutions in California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico. GHC offers hospice billing services through Consolo that include state-of-the-art hospice software at no additional cost helping hospices manage tedious billing requirements such as data entry, paperwork, and seemingly endless correspondences and follow-ups for claims payments.

“Our goal at Greene Health Care is to help hospice care providers do more and worry less about their billing, especially with these new rules and the rapidly changing standards of the industry,” Erika Tran, GHC Operations Analyst, said. “Billing issues can be quite troublesome and costly so we really encourage hospice care providers to let our services do that for them.”

She added, “We really specialize in making the financial aspect easy and convenient for hospice care providers, whether they are start-ups or industry veterans. The services have been proven to increase billing accuracy and eliminate double entries while cutting back on time, and on the costs and hassles of hiring an internal biller. We also use a ‘paid by performance model’ which means we only get paid once the client has been paid.”

According to Tran, Consolo’s hospice billing services take great pride in its dedicated, reliable and committed team of billers who are experts in all aspects of hospice billing and reimbursement.

About Greene Health Care (GHC):

Established in 2009, Greene Health Care Inc represents Consolo Service Group, a leading provider of web based EMR hospice software and billing services. Their hospice billing services are used by more than one third of their existing clients’ and are provided by a team of dedicated professionals with extensive experience and training in all aspects of hospice billing, compliance, and claims.
