‘Band of Brothers’ vet William Guarnere dies at 90

PHILADELPHIA — William ‘‘Wild Bill’’ Guarnere, one of the World War II veterans whose exploits were dramatized in the TV miniseries ‘‘Band of Brothers,’’ has died. He was 90.
