Elfie Biankini, Janice Allen, and Wendy Shelley, of the Alexandria/Old Town Historic District Office of Long & Foster Realtors, recently earned the new designation of Military Residential Specialist (MilRES)®, a certification offered to Realtors® interested in better serving veterans, active duty personnel, and reservists.
These Realtors® are building a national referral network of MilRES® for clients considering a move or planning to buy an investment property. There are benefits unique to service members, such as the Service Members Civil Relief Act (SCRA), and protections for deployed soldiers, as well as various resources that help our active duty families.
The goal of this program is to offer specific expertise to members of the military, veterans, families, and related government services, and to have them seek out the MilRES® agent. Their information, advice and experience will help clients to evaluate their options, making the best decisions to achieve a successful real estate transaction.
