North American Title Co. has added Christina Isaac as a business consultant in its Research Boulevard branch in Austin, Texas. Isaac has more than 22 years of experience in sales, marketing and event management experience. She will be marketing North American Title’s services to real estate professionals, lenders and builders in northwest Austin.

According to the Austin Board of Realtors® (ABoR), the area’s home sales hit record highs in February, with 1,761 homes sold – a 9 percent jump from the same time last year. The median price also surged with an 11 percent gain to $230,530. At the same time, the average number of days on market in February 2014 compared to February 2013 dropped 16 days to 55 days, spurred by one percent fewer new listings than a year ago.
Luckily, ABoR said a recent Metrostudy report showed Austin-area home starts hit a six-year high in 2013, which will hopefully replenish Austin’s housing stock and help ease rising home prices.
Isaac is a native Texan who has lived in Austin for the last eight years and is actively involved in two local nonprofits. As a board member of Operation Turkey, she has helped feed Austin’s homeless for eight years on Thanksgiving Day. She also is the local Chapter Captain for Team RWB (Red, White and Blue), a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps connect veterans to their communities through physical and social activities.
