Cape Fear Seniors, a weekly radio show hosted by Tom Pechar on Wilmington Business RadioX®, used the March 7, 2014 episode to spotlight Mark Wilson, Vice President of Marketing for Cambridge Village Senior Living. Wilson announced the plans for the company’s new senior living facility, which will open in early 2015 on Eastwood Road in Wilmington, NC.
Cambridge Village Senior Living, started in Apex, NC, will double in size when it expands into Wilmington. This independent senior living facility is an all-inclusive rental community. Phase one will offer 126 apartments; phase two will add another 120 apartments.
Wilson discussed the philosophy of the living facility. “We wanted to offer a lifestyle that was more than just socials and bingo,” he said. “Our philosophy is that of ‘holistic wellness,’ including physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual wellness. We pride ourselves in having such a balanced program.”
One of the biggest projects within the senior living facility is the wellness center, unique in the Wilmington area. Cambridge Village Senior Living will offer the wellness center not only to residents, but to outside people as well.
