This is Devon --
THE Veterans' marquee on the Hoe for Armed Forces Day had a stand for the British Korean Veterans Association.
For those who are not aware of this war, it took place in Korea 1950-1953.
British killed in action 1,200, wounded 3,000, prisoners of war 600.
This war is referred to as The Forgotten War.
The Lord Mayor, Deputy Lord Mayor, and the Leader of the Council were more concerned with lunch than spending a few minutes with these veterans.
Only the Lord Lieutenant and Oliver Colvile MP took the time to speak to these veterans.
Also no photographs of inside the marquee on The Herald website.
The end of this month marks the 60th anniversary of the ceasefire of this conflict.
At least the South Koreans show respect and gratitude to these brave veterans.
