The nation’s most trusted provider of cremation services, Neptune Society, recently reinforced its ongoing commitment to veterans by participating in the 96th Annual Convention of the American Legion in Orlando, Florida.
“This year’s 96th annual convention was one of the best turnouts I’ve ever seen,” said Matthew DiGiovanni, Vice President of Marketing for Neptune Society. “The audience was receptive of our partnership and the value that the Neptune Society provides to their membership. This has been a great success for both organizations.”
This year, Neptune Society organized a raffle for all convention attendees to participate in. The grand prize was a 43-inch High Definition Samsung television. At 3:00 p.m. on June 13, Neptune Society raffled off the grand prize to Larry Roberts of American Legion, Post 74 in Sebring, Florida. Roberts is a U.S. Army veteran of 14 years.
In addition to the raffle, DiGiovanni, Jim Marcey, Vice President of Web and E-commerce, Billie Nicholson, Marketing Specialist, and Dan Martinez, Area Sales Manager, represented the Neptune Society by fielding veterans’ questions and educating veterans on the end-of-life benefits that they may qualify for. Neptune Society also created and distributed their 10 Important Facts about your VA Burial/Cremation Benefits brochure, which allows veterans to better understand the benefits they both need and deserve.
“At the Neptune Society, we’re always happy to serve those who have served. We understand the sacrifices that our veterans and their families made for the service of this country, and feel it is an honor when they choose us to carry out their final wishes,” said Marcey. “We have attended this convention three years running, and cannot help but to be inspired to see so many United States Veterans in one place, decked out in their Legion regalia. I look forward to the event for years to come.”
Neptune Society is a strategic partner in support of the Florida American Legion and their family of organizations. Generating over $50,000 annually for the Florida team alone, and supporting multiple programs such as Veterans burial benefits, Neptune Society helps to secure death care benefits for our veterans and their families.
“We recognize the importance of giving back to our veterans,” said Tim Nicholson, President and COO of Neptune Society. “It’s an honor to support and assist those who have served our country, and we consider it our duty to ensure that our veterans receive the same level of dignity and respect during the memorialization process as they received throughout their lifetimes. By partnering with the American Legion, we hope to achieve just that.” Reported by PRWeb 1 hour ago.
