Donald Morel Joins Travis Manion Foundation Board of Directors

Don Morel, Chairman and CEO of West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. joined the TMF Board of Directors.

Donald Morel, Jr. Ph.D., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. joined the Travis Manion Foundation Board of Directors effective April, 2014. The Travis Manion Foundation Board of Directors now has 16 members.

"It has been a honor to have Don Morel join the TMF Board of Directors," Ryan Manion Borek, President of the Travis Manion Foundation, said. "He is not only an accomplished professional and a distinguished leader, but he is also a strong supporter of the military community and a champion for the Travis Manion Foundation. We are pleased to have him as a part of our organization."

Dr. Morel has served as Chief Executive Officer of West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. since April 2002 and Chairman of the Board since March 2003. He joined West in 1992 as Director of Research and Development and was promoted to Vice President R&D in 1993. In 1998 he was promoted to Group President, heading sales, marketing and operations of West’s medical device and pharmaceutical components business globally. In October 1999, Dr. Morel became President of the new Drug Delivery Division and in April 2001, President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining West, Dr. Morel worked with Harris Corporation, PneumoAbex, and Applied Research Laboratories.

The Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) is a qualified 501(c)(3) that is dedicated to assisting our nation’s veterans and families of the fallen. TMF engages with veterans and families of the fallen in all stages of their personal journeys and offers them unique opportunities to empower them to achieve their personal and professional goals.
