Patch Northborough, MA --Shrewsbury officials have advertised for a part-time veterans agent to serve the town as well as veterans in Grafton, Northborough and Westborough.
The towns agreed earlier this year to form the Central Massachusetts Veterans' Services District.
Shrewsbury, Northborough and Grafton have shared Veterans Agent Richard Perron, with administrative support in each town, since 1999, the district proposal states.
Perron plans to retire soon, the proposal notes.
The part-time agent will report to the district director, and visit the four town halls weekly, according to Shrewsbury's June 5 job advertisement.
