ECS Productions Kicks-off “Blues in Motion Foundation” with Taste of Union City Food Blues and World Music Festival featuring a Veterans' Job Fair

Blues in Motion Foundation makes its debut at Taste Of Union City Food, Blues & World Music Festival to be held on Sept. 14th, 2013 at Charles Kennedy Park in Union City, CA. It won't be just your average Blues Festival. Its features and attractions include a veterans' job fair, cooking challenges and demos, three stages of family friendly entertainment, and a vintage car display- truly unique among Blues festivals.

ECS Productions Kicks-off “Blues in Motion Foundation” at the "Taste of Union City- Food Blues and World Music Festival" Saturday, September 14th, 2013 at Charles Kennedy Park, 1333 Decoto Road, Union City, CA, easily accessed by BART.

Taste Of Union City Food, Blues & World Music Festival is not just your average Blues Festival. Its combined features and attractions make it unique among Blues festivals.

Veterans are invited to attend the first ever Blues sponsored Job Fair designed especially for them at the festival. AT&T, EDD, New York Life, America's Job Center of California and others will discuss employment opportunities and assist Vets with interviewing, resumes and everything related to the job search process. A Veteran’s Representative from Congressman Eric Swalwell’ s office has been invited to provide information on federal resources that are available to them through his office.

The job fair is the kick-off event for The Blues in Motion Foundation, a nonprofit organization that benefits Blues Music and its artists, but is also committed to benefitting the community. Instead of just "keeping the blues alive", founder E.C. Scott is using this opportunity build upon the vibrancy and sustainability of the genre and give back to the community.

Festival gates will open at 9 am. Three stages of music and dancing, a Vintage car show, games and workshops for the kids, and many more attractions offer fun for the whole family. Cooking demonstrations and contests will pit local leaders and Vendors against each other- showcasing their culinary skills and fueling their good natured rivalries. Renowned vendors will offer a wide variety of tempting treats and healthy eating options to satisfy every taste.

Blues guitarist Deborah Coleman and local Bluesman Chris Cobb and his band will kick the event off Friday Night with a Kickoff Party at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Union City, CA. Dinner 7pm Showtime 8pm. Advance tickets $15. At the Door $20. Admission includes buffet. Advance tickets for the festival are Adults $15.00 Children $10.00. Gate price $20 Adults, $12 Children.
