ZyntonyRa, the world's first strap light, has completed a spectacular Kickstarter campaign with more than 2,500 backers pre-ordering the ultimate outdoor lighting solution. The momentum continues on Indiegogo InDemand.

Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) March 19, 2016

ZyntonyRa, the ingenious outdoor light solution, is celebrating its success on Kickstarter and continuing the momentum by offering discounted pre-orders of the word’s first strap light on Indiegogo InDemand.

InDemand is a platform for successful crowdfunding campaigns to continue to fulfill demand and take pre-orders from new backers. Ra completed its Kickstarter campaign with a final tally of $300,000 (will update) from 2,500 (will update) backers from around the world.

“We’re grateful for all of the support and we’re thrilled to be able to continue offering our strap lights to outdoor enthusiasts and active people everywhere who want safe mobile lighting, on Indiegogo InDemand,” said Zyntony CEO Rob Urry. “Our light is brighter than ten headlamps and it’s a breakthrough in portable lighting.”

Designed to light up the entire area around the user, instead of just a small spot in front of them, Ra lights up the night with 800 lumens of warm natural light. Users can attach a pair of Ra’s to the shoulder straps of a backpack for 1600 lumens of light - creating a zone of daylight.

Ra is ideal for all outdoor adventures and is also a safety device for night joggers, walkers and for children who walk to school early in the morning. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration approximately 10,000 children 14-and-under are injured annually as pedestrians, 76% of injuries occur in non-daylight hours. Ra can help to reduce the risk with strap lights attached to a child's backpack.

With multiple mounting options, Ra can be attached to almost anything. The user can fix it to any ferrous (metal containing iron) object using the built in rare earth magnets. Ra can be attached to nearly any article of clothing using the accompanying magnetic backer strip. Using the D-ring strap and simple hook and loop ties, Ra can be fastened to virtually any piece of gear.

Ra is powered via its micro-USB input. Zyntony makes four different sizes of battery packs allowing the flexibility to carry as much power as needed.

Additional features include:·     Waterproof
·     High efficiency LEDs maximize run time
·     Individual beam patterns to optimize spread and throw
·     Flexible spring steel frame conforms to a variety of contours
·     Over five times brighter than an average headlamp
·     Designed to work with Zyntony BatPaks (high energy density power battery packs)

ZyntonyRa is now available at discounted pricing on Indiegogo InDemand. For more information, and to pre-order ZyntonyRa visit:

Trump Campaign Manager Appears to Grab a Protester at Tucson Rally in CBS News Video

Trump Campaign Manager Appears to Grab a Protester at Tucson Rally in CBS News Video Round 2 for Corey Lewandowski? In a new video, the embattled campaign manager for the Trump campaign appears to grab a protester at a Saturday Trump rally in Tucson, Arizona.

The video was posted by CBS News late Saturday. Lewandowski’s methods of dealing with the media and the public have taken center stage since he apparently manhandled Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields at a campaign event last week.

Events at the Saturday rally were explosive, with veterans and immigrants’ rights groups making their presence known early, in the hall and outside. At another Trump event in the state, a protester was seen being punched and kicked by a Trump supporter, who was reportedly arrested.

“I hate to have ‘em arrested, you know, we have this hall, this is our hall, and we could have him arrested, really they’re trespassing, you do that – you ruin their lives, who wants to do it, right?” Trump said to the crowd, as reported by CBS News.

Hope Hicks, a Trump spokeswoman, tried to deflate the situation in a Saturday statement to The New York Times. “”Corey Lewandowski was speaking with a protester at today’s rally in Tucson, Arizona when the individual he was speaking with was pulled from behind by the man to Lewandowski’s left. The video clearly shows the protester reacting to the man who pulled him, not to Mr. Lewandowski. Mr. Trump does not condone violence at his rallies, which are private events paid for by the campaign.”

Through the caregiver training programs now available on myCNAjobs, powered by 'In The Know', people have access to a library of online training courses that meet federal requirements as well as CNA CEU requirements in 46 states.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) March 21, 2016

myCNAjobs and 'In The Know' are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership to offer complimentary online caregiver training and CNA CEUs to bring more education and awareness to an underserved market at no charge.

A limited supply of caregiver workers is the top reported threat to business growth for home care and senior care providers across the nation. In a traditionally low-paid, high-stress environment, companies are struggling to meet recruitment demands.

"There's a clear shortage of qualified workers to meet the demands of our aging population," comments Brandi Kurtyka, CEO and Co-Founder of myCNAjobs, a leader in caregiver recruitment for the senior care industry.

To meet growing demands, senior care providers are scrambling to find more employees, including retirees, new moms, retail and fast food workers, and veterans, often with no healthcare experience.

"As an industry we need to come together to attract more caregivers into the profession and ensure they are properly trained," adds Kurtyka. "We partnered with 'In The Know' as they share our belief in providing free training to service this growing demand."

"I met the Founders of myCNAjobs at an industry event and together, we learned we had a shared vision," comments Linda Leekley, RN, CEO of 'In The Know', a leading caregiver training provider for nearly two decades. "Everyone is trying to make a buck selling training services to a population that makes minimum wage. Together, we knew we could make a big impact by delivering free training to caregivers looking to explore the profession for the first time or CNAs who need continuing education to meet state CEU requirements," adds Leekley.

Through the caregiver training programs now available on myCNAjobs, powered by 'In The Know', people have access to a library of online training courses that meet federal requirements as well as CNA CEU requirements in 46 states. The courses cover a variety of topics from learning the basics of the profession to more advanced topics like understanding Alzheimer's disease and providing best-in-class end of life care.

"Through this partnership, we're thrilled to have the opportunity to invest in caregivers’ professional development to position them for successful careers in caregiving,” adds Leekley.

Boot Campaign's Annual "Pushups for Charity" Begins: Official Nationwide Registration Is Now Open

“What Do You Push For?” is Fundraising Challenge for Participants Supporting Active Military, Veterans and their Families

Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) March 21, 2016

Veterans, current U.S. military, and their families will be cheering on Monday, March 21, when national registration officially opens for Boot Campaign’s Annual Pushups For Charity event, the military nonprofit’s major fundraising challenge. The nationwide initiative officially runs from Armed Forces Day (May 21) through Veterans Day (Nov. 11).

Pushups For Charity increases awareness of the challenges military service members and veterans face, and raises money to support their unique needs. The annual campaign gives individuals, gyms, churches, businesses, and clubs across the country a chance to serve those who serve by hosting Pushups For Charity events all summer long, racking up pushups and funds in support of Boot Campaign. For complete details on how to register, visit http://www.Bootcampaign.org/PushupsForCharity.

Pushups For Charity 2016 hopes to raise $1 million, which equates to more than 500 individual grants to support veterans, service members, and their families. Boot Campaign assistance grants help veterans with housing, career and education expenses, and PTSD/TBI treatment and are available to military families of all generations.

“What do you push for?” That is the question thousands of participants will answer nationwide, even in Guinness World Record numbers, as they "push" against friends, family, and co-workers by completing as many pushups in 90 seconds as they can. This 90 seconds gives them a first-hand taste of what service members endure their entire military career, and allows them to show their support of the 1.4 million active duty men and women and 22 million veterans. Many will pledge a dollar amount per pushup, others will give an amount that speaks to them, but all donations will change the lives of heroes that protect our freedom.

“We are calling for people of all ages who can do a pushup to take part in Pushups For Charity to support our nation's heroes and their families,” says Boot Campaign CEO Robyn Payne. “We need everyone’s help to raise awareness and enough funds to reach our goals. Every person can make a huge difference just by doing pushups, and has the power to change a life in 90 seconds.”

Boot Campaign’s Pushups For Charity Registration opens March 21, 2016. Boot Campaign encourages all of America to get involved in one of three ways:

1. Lead a team - Plan an event and enlist family, friends, co-workers.
2. Join a team - Teams are organized by city and state.
3. Donate - If you cannot push physically, push financially.

In 2015, more than 200 events took place across the country from Miami, Fla. to Anchorage, Alaska, with big "pushes" in Los Angeles, San Jose, Irvine and Huntington Beach, Calif.; New York City and Staten Island, N.Y.; Chicago, Ill.; Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, Pa.; Cincinnati, Ohio; Denver, Colo.; Washington, D.C.; Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, Texas; and Las Vegas, Nevada, among many others.

Boot Campaign also has bolstered its program support in 2016 to include:

*Virtual / individual participation
*Easier registration process through a new customized platform
*Simpler and accessible team training
*Incentives for team-member fundraising
*Increased marketing tools and social media support
*Extension to the PUC season, pushing all the way to Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

Boot Campaign awards prizes to the leading participants with the most successful events from around the country based on total funds raised. In the Winner’s Circle last year was Wholesale Capital Corporation (Moreno Valley, Calif.), the top overall fundraiser in its first year as a team. Other winners included: PUC Bay Area (San Jose, Calif.), The Training Spot (Huntington Beach, Calif.), Irvine Police Department/Custom Body Fitness (Irvine, Calif.). Total Quality Logistics (Cincinnati, Ohio) also shattered the Guinness World Record for the most people doing pushups at one time with more than 700 participants.

Pushups For Charity is Boot Campaign’s largest annual fundraiser, and was a substantial part of the military nonprofit’s record-breaking year in 2015, where 83 percent of every dollar raised went to its mission.

Peek into what it's like to get hired at Google with 10 insights from the tech giant's head of HR

Peek into what it's like to get hired at Google with 10 insights from the tech giant's head of HR Last year, Google's senior vice president of People Operations, Laszlo Bock, peeled back the curtain on Google's management style and culture with the publication of his book "Work Rules!"

The bestseller is chock-full of insights that explain what it's really like to be hired at what's consistently been ranked one of the best companies to work for in the US.

We rounded up some of the most compelling takeaways from the book, as well as from recent interviews Bock has given.

Read on to find out what makes the tech giant so awesome — and what your company can learn from them.

*SEE ALSO: Google's Larry Page uses an unusual management trick to inspire his employees to think bigger*

-1. Google sets its sights high.-

Google's mission is "to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful."

Bock says it's a moral goal, not a business one, and represents the culture that the company's leaders are trying to create.

It's intentionally impossible to achieve because, as Bock writes in his book, "there will always be more information to organize and more ways to make it useful."

*Read more about the Google mission statement »*-2. Google interviewers ask candidates two types of questions: behavioral and situational.-

Google uses an internal tool called qDroid that arranges a list of interview questions depending on what type of position is being filled. The questions are behavioral, dealing with past scenarios, and situational, dealing with hypothetical scenarios.

For instance, an interviewer may ask a behavioral question like: "In the past, how have you obtained and incorporated customer feedback into your organization's planning and service standards? Give specific examples."

He doesn't advocate unstructured interviews, in which the company asks questions like, "What was the last Halloween costume you wore?" citing research that found structured, job-specific interviews are the best predictors of job performance.

For more question ideas, he recommends checking out the questions included in the career resources section of the US Department of Veterans Affairs website.

*Read more about Google interview questions »*-3. An unbiased group of people makes final hiring decisions.-

After an interview, an independent group of reviewers goes over all the interviewers' feedback and has the final say on whether to bring the candidate on. This strategy helps ensure that the interviewers' biases don't affect hiring decisions.
