Local military uniform superstore, USA Military Medals, is providing thin ribbon racks free of charge, here, Monday December 9, giving customers the opportunity to take home a ribbon rack with the purchase of a shadowbox.
From military slang, a military ribbon or medal “rack” refers to the colorful rows of awards typically found above the wearer’s left pocket on U.S. armed forces dress uniforms.
The Large Display Case, assembled with an acrylic glass front and cherry finish frame, can accommodate up to 8 medals with a small assortment of uniform components (i.e. badges, patches and ribbons).
