New Association Focused on Public Health and Environmental Safety Management Launches

The Trans-National Kempt Association will offer professional curriculum, industry standards and ratings across the cleaning industry.

FORT WORTH, Texas (PRWEB) August 21, 2018

An award-winning environmental cleaning company is behind a pioneering effort to expand public health and environmental safety management around the globe.

The Trans-National Kempt Association (TNKA), which launched August 15, is the brainchild of Reggi Kemp, chief executive officer of Texas-based Kemp and Sons General Services. Her goal is to create professional curriculum, industry standards and ratings across the cleaning industry. According to Allied Market Research the cleaning market is expected to exceed $74 billion worldwide by 2022. This is an opportunity to standardize an industry that has never, in its existence since 1898, been regulated.

“There’s a forward trend toward understanding the medical impact cleaning has on public health,” said Kemp, whose work has been recognized by Forbes and CNN/Money Magazine. A recent Journal of Environmental Health Research study found that a person is 100 times more likely to catch a cold while on a plane than during everyday life. Infection can spread more easily among people in enclosed spaces especially, hotels, cruise ships, air carriers, hospitals and restaurants. “That’s why TNKA is leading the charge to develop industry standards aimed at protecting people,” Kemp added. “It’s the right place and time for cleaning industry professionals, veterans, product specialists and service technicians to engage, share strategies and gain access to invaluable resources.

TNKA is forming a community of vested individuals who will connect with each other to transform the cleaning industry with innovation and technology. Among other things, TNKA provides a platform for members interested in pooling their collective knowledge to create a unified code of ethics, regulations and standards to uphold one of the leading market segments in the global business sector. TNKA also provides professionals access to best practices and winning strategies that will revolutionize the industry.

Membership benefits in TNKA include discounts on Adobe software, office products, hotels, entertainment, car rentals and cleaning supplies. For more information about Trans-National Kempt Association or to register to become a charter member, please visit transnationalkemptassociation.org.

In this role, he will be responsible for developing new strategic partnerships with health systems on a national level. Tonix Pharmaceuticals shares jump on favorable data related to PTSD drug

Tonix Pharmaceuticals Holding Corp (NASDAQ:TNXP) got a boost Tuesday after reporting that the retrospective analysis of previous data suggests its drug Tonmya effectively treats certain cases of post-traumatic stress disorder. New data suggests that participants with PTSD in Tonix’s previous Phase 3 study who took Tonmya saw improvement if they experienced trauma less than or equal to nine years prior to the screening. In contrast, there was no benefit to the participants who experienced trauma more than nine years prior to screening. Tonix shares, which are thinly-traded, climbed 8.4% to US$1.36 in response to the news. Future studies will focus on PTSD patients with more recent trauma, Tonix said. “The finding that treatment response to Tonmya in the [Phase 3 Honor study] decreases as the time since trauma gets longer, suggests that military service members and veterans with PTSD are transitioning from a Tonmya-treatment responsive state to a non-responsive state after approximately nine years,” Tonix CEO Seth Lederman said in a statement. The Phase 3 HONOR study of Tonmya in military-related PTSD was stopped last month due to patients seeing an inadequate change from the base line in the severity of their PTSD symptoms compared to a placebo. Read: Tonix Pharmaceuticals sees shares plummet after PTSD drug trial halted Tonix is presenting a poster today at the 2018 Military Health System Research Symposium in Kissimmee, Florida, which includes the more favorable retrospective analyses from the original Phase 3 study evaluating Tonmya, which is also known as TNX-102 SL. PTSD is a condition, often stemming from military stints, that affects 11mln adults in the US and is characterized by chronic disability and inadequate treatment options. Based in New York City, Tonix is developing Tonmya, which has been granted a Breakthrough Therapy designation from the US Food and Drug Administration, as a bedtime treatment for PTSD. The company specializes in producing drugs to treat central nervous system conditions.
